In Tuesday’s Austrian OFB Cup game, Red Bull Salzburg’s Ghanaian midfielder Forson Amankwah had a big influence.
The teenage player came off the bench to score for Salzburg, who defeated Austria Salzburg at the Untersberg-Arena with ease.
He’s amongst the young players the Black Stars of Ghana are aiming to call in the near future to help the team.
He made his entrance when Red Bull Salzburg had a 1-0 advantage. Amankwah made a significant contribution right away, scoring twice in the 63rd and 74th minutes.
His efforts, combined with goals from Amar Dedic and Strahinja Pavlovic, enabled Red Bull Salzburg to defeat Austria Salzburg convincingly (4-0).
