Kylian Mbappe aged 23 has gone on to show the world how phenomenal he can be after a historic hatrick in the World Cup Final against Argentina.
The French forward remains the only player to score a hatrick in a World Cup final in the 21st century after Geoff Hurst in 1966.
However, his ultimate goal was short lived after Argentina managed to crush french hearts in a dramatic penalty shootout ending 4-2 with Gonzalo Montiel scoring the winning Spot kick.
Mbappe now sits with 12 world cup goals at age 23 and eyes the World Cup top scorer record of Miroslav Klose on 16 goals.
Although Les Blues made it back to back World Cup finals, the goal to join Brazil and Italy as the only nations to do back to back world titles failed.
