At exactly 4:00 pm local time, the Black Stars of Ghana will lock horns with Central African Republic in a crucial game that will see Ghana either booking a ticket to the next edition of the African Cup of Nations possible or not.
Prior to the game, a lot of stakeholders in our football circle have been sharing their opinions on the game.
George Afriyie who is also aspiring to become the next GFA president has shared his thoughts about our crucial game despite the GFA election committee releasing a statement yesterday that he has been disqualified from the election.
George Afriyie said, “ Ghana’s qualification to the African Cup of Nations is the minimum expectation that can not be compromised. I will urge the team to stay focus and to Ghanaians good game that will restore hope and confidence going into 2023 AFCON in neighboring Cote D’Ivoire.
I will personally appeal to the people of Kumasi and Ghanaians at large to fill the Baba Yara Sports Stadium and cheer on the stars to victory”
