GFA approves Kotoko and Hearts of friendly in London

Asante Kotoko versus Accra Hearts Of Oak game that will be staged at the Barnet Stadium in London, has been approved by the Ghana Football Association.

The organizers HRH Sports Consultancy Ltd of the friendly game dubbed the special independence anniversary commemorative match request was granted after the FA sought the approval of both clubs involved as to them honoring the invitational letter given to them.

In a meeting today at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Hon Isaac Kwame Asiamah gave the guidance for the successful organization of the game between the two giants of Ghana football to project nation’s soccer to the rest of the world.

Present at the meeting were, Minister for Youth and Sports Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah, Chief Director of the Ministry Mr. Frank Quist, GFA President Kurt E.S. Okraku, GFA General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo, organisers Justin Addo and Nana Yaw Amponsah.

The Special Independence commemorative match will take place on Saturday 7th march 2020 at the Barnet Stadium in London. The clubs will leave Ghana on March 4th and return on March 8th.
