GHANA BOXING AUTHORITY CONGRESS SLATED FOR JULY

The Ghana Boxing Authority has chosen Thursday the 22nd day of July,2021 as the date to hold their Congress and also elect into office new officers and executive board members.

The event will take off at 9:00am at the Mudor Conference Center in the Bukom Boxing Arena and only members in good standing can contest or vote in the elections.

Nomination for the elections would be opened from the 1st to 21st June,2021 between 9am to 5pm each day and the forms will be available for purchase at GH₵100.00 each at the GBA Secretariet located at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

Candidates who are vying for positions are required to pay the following as submission fees to be eligible to contest in the elections;

(I) President GH₵3,000

(II) 1st Vice President GH₵2,000

(III) 2nd Vice President GH₵1,500

(IV) Treasurer GH₵1,000

(v) 4 Executive Board GH₵700

Nominations shall be in accordance with Article 4 of the GBA Constitution and a candidate shall be nominated by a member in good standing as completed forms shall be submitted in triplicates.

Candidates will be vetted on Thursday 8th July,2021 and balloting for the positions will take place on the 15th of July,2021 at the GBA Secretariet in the Bukom Boxing Arena.
