Ghana Football Association in need of a reputable audit firm

The Ghana football association on his journey of transparency and accountability has opened it doors to reputable audit firms to submit their proposals to be appointed as their independent and external auditors.

This decision was taken by the Ghana football association in accordance with Article 67 of the GFA statutes 2019 which states:

“The independent and external auditors appointed by the Congress shall audit on a yearly basis the management account of the GFA in accordance with the appropriate principles of accounting and present a report to Congress. The auditors shall be appointed for a period of three years and be internationally recognized entities. This mandate may be renewed. The audited accounts shall be published in the national dailies in compliance with the Companies Act of Ghana.”

The executive council of the GFA will be looking into the proposals submitted and choose the best one which will be presented to the congress for 3 years appointment as the GFA external auditor replacing the Ghana Audit service who has been auditing them over the years.
