On May 9th, 2001, 127 lives were lost at the Accra Sports Stadium after a stampede in a Premier League game between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.
In remembering the lost lives and the tragic incident, Premier league Clubs including Techiman Eleven Wonders, Inter Allies, Accra Hearts Of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko has taken to Twitter in marking the 19th anniversary of the disaster.
