The Ghana Football Association has released full fixtures for the upcoming 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season.
The top-flight league will kick off on Friday, September 9, 2022.
However, dates and times for the matches will be confirmed in the coming days with the television schedule.
Meanwhile, defending champions, Asante Kotoko will start their title defence at home against Nsoatreman FC at the Baba Yara Sports stadium, while arch-rivals Hearts of oak journeys to Dormaa to battle Aduana stars.
Apparently, Hearts Of Oak and Asante Kotoko will lock horns in a two-legged affair on Match Day 3 in Kumasi in Ghana’s version of the ‘El classico.
Again, Accra Hearts of Oak will host Accra Great Olympics in the first leg of the Ga Mashie derby at the Accra Sports Stadium on Match Day 2.
On the other hand, Asante Kotoko faces off competition from King Faisal babies in the Kumasi derby on March Day 4.
Moreover, New babies Samartex will also begin their campaign against Real Tamale United at the Aliu Mahama stadium in Tamale.
That notwithstanding, newly promoted sides Tamale City and Kotoku Royals will have their first taste of Premier League against Karela United and Accra Lions respectively .
