Ghana Premier League to Return Behind Closed Doors – Reports
The Ghana Football Association have proposed to the Presidential Commission on COVID-19 to allow them play Ghana Premier League matches behind closed doors according to reports.
According to the reports, clubs will be given six weeks to prepare and resume play behind closed doors after the league was suspended months ago due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.
The Government has placed ban on all social gatherings in the country but sources say the FA will need the government in order to carry out this proposal of playing the games behind closed doors.
Ghana has recorded a total of 6,617 coronavirus cases with 31 deaths.
