Ghana women’s premier league week five (5) encounter between Thunder Queens and Faith Ladies ends in a victory for Thunder Queens.

Two consecutive defeats for Faith Ladies after they went three (3) games unbeaten.

Coach Emmanuel’s Thunder Queen have shown why they are among the title contenders for this season.

On the 17th minutes, Deborah Opoku open the score line for Thunder Queens and Gifty Akonobea’s goal on the 38th draw the two sides on level.

Deborah Opoku on the 45th minute scored again to double up her tally and put her side back into the lead going to the half time break.

Coming back from the half time break, the two teams have created some early chances and Deborah Opoku again double the lead for her side with a hat-trick on the 59th minutes.

Comfort Forkuo was at the right place at the right time to tap in a rebound to make it 4-1 in favor of Thunder Queens.

Faith Ladies never gave up after going behind by three(3) goals margin. They fought on to put one back on the 81ts minutes through Portia Nana Prempeh to make it 4-2 and on 90+3, Portia Nana Prempeh again pulled another one back for Faith ladies.

Nana Prempeh was actually in her best form today but her bust was not enough to help her side draw on level with their local rivals.
