Ghanaian midfielder Enock Otoo has officially sealed his transfer from FC Nordsjælland to Lyngby Boldklub, marking a significant step in his career journey within the Danish Superliga.
The 19-year-old has penned a three-year contract with his new club, eager to make an impact on the top-flight stage.
Enock Otoo showcased his promising abilities with four goals in nine appearances for Nordsjælland. A product of the acclaimed Right-to-Dream Academy in Ghana, he sees Lyngby as an ideal platform for both personal and professional growth: “I believe Lyngby Boldklub is a place where I can develop both on and off the pitch, taking a crucial step towards becoming the best version of myself.”
Lyngby’s talent manager, Nicas Kjeldsen, holds high expectations for Otoo’s potential: “He is a technically skilled and lightning-quick player who we believe can make an immediate contribution while also developing in our supportive environment to become a prominent figure in the royal blue shirt.”
Otoo joins fellow Ghanaian Willy Kumado at Lyngby, adding to the club’s international flair. Lyngby currently sits 7th in the Danish Superliga table with 20 points from 17 matches. With the league on winter break, Otoo’s debut in the royal blue shirt is eagerly anticipated in the upcoming clash against HamKam on February 10.
