Ghanaian forward Mohammed Fuseini continued his hot streak, scoring a goal to lead Randers FC to a crucial victory over Vejle Boldklub in the Danish Superliga relegation round.
The 21-year-old doubled Randers’ lead in the 57th minute after Daniel Høegh opened the scoring in the 18th minute with an assist from another Ghanaian, Ernest Agyiri.
Vejle Boldklub, featuring Ghanaian midfielder Ebenezer Ofori, responded with a goal from German Onugha in the 66th minute, but it proved to be a consolation as Randers secured all three points.
This win strengthens Randers FC’s grip on the top spot of the relegation group table. With 32 points after 25 matches, they are in prime position to secure the group’s sole Europa Conference League qualification play-off spot. The remaining two teams face relegation.
Fuseini, who joined Randers on loan from Austrian club Sturm Graz in January 2024, has emerged as a key player for Randers this season, contributing 7 goals and 1 assist. He will look to continue his scoring streak when Randers takes on Odense BK in their next league match on April 19.
