Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Osman continued his impressive form for FC Nordsjaelland, scoring the opening goal in a crucial 2-1 victory over FC Copenhagen in the Danish Superliga Championship round on Sunday.
The 19-year-old winger found the net in the 22nd minute, setting the tone for Nordsjaelland’s dominant start. Marcus Ingvartsen doubled their lead just seven minutes later, putting the Wild Tigers firmly in control.
Copenhagen threatened a comeback when Orri Óskarsson pulled one back shortly after halftime, but Nordsjaelland held on for a vital three points.
The win keeps them in fourth place on the table with 43 points after 24 matches.
Osman, who was replaced by Mario Dorgeles in the 88th minute, received a solid 7.1 rating from SofaScore for his performance. This adds to his impressive tally of 3 goals and 5 assists in 22 league appearances for Nordsjaelland this season.
Nordsjaelland now switch their focus to the Danish Cup, where they face AGF in the second leg of the semi-final on April 11. With Ibrahim Osman in fine form, they will be confident of securing their place in the final.
