In the Dutch second-tier league, rising Ghanaian sensation Jayden Addai, who was born in the Netherlands, put on an outstanding performance by scoring three goals to lead Jong AZ Alkmaar to a convincing 3-1 home victory over SC Telstar.
The Red and White team’s winger Addai, 17, opened the scoring in the 23rd minute with a deft strike, giving his side a 1-0 lead going into halftime.
In the 81st minute, Addai scored Jong AZ Alkmaar’s second goal by showcasing his talent.
A spectacular hat-trick goal by Addai in the 94th minute gave Jong AZ Alkmaar a commanding 3-1 victory despite a late reaction by SC Telstar’s Zakaria Eddahchouri in the 92nd minute.
