Ghanaian talents Emmanuel Akansase, Sayibu Yakubu, and Kwame Otu have joined Finnish second-tier side SJK Akatemia, bolstering the squad ahead of the upcoming season. The trio signed multi-year deals after transferring from Ghanaian club Vision FC.
This move highlights the collaborative nature of the partnership between Vision FC and SJK Akatemia, which aims to develop young Ghanaian talents and provide them with opportunities in Europe.
Central defender Sayibu Yakubu and forward Emmanuel Akansase will be integrated directly into the SJK Akatemia squad, aiming to make a significant impact in the Finnish second division. Meanwhile, forward Kwame Otu will embark on a season-long loan to another undisclosed Finnish club, allowing him to gain valuable first-team experience.
SJK Akatemia is currently gearing up for the new season, with a friendly match against KPV scheduled for April 5. This will serve as a crucial preparation test before their official league opener against JAPS on April 13th.
The arrival of the Ghanaian players adds depth and attacking options to the SJK Akatemia squad, raising their potential for a successful season in the Finnish second tier.
