Ex-Black stars skipper Asamoah Gyan has revealed his desire to return to the Black Stars as the Strikers coach.
According to the African top scorer at the FIFA World Cup, he will be returning to help the striking department of the Black stars right after he is done with his coaching course which will begin in either June or July this year.
“I’d like to handle Black Stars as strikers coach, but everything takes time. First I need to work on my coaching course. I’m due to begin in June or July, after that we’ll see”, he told Accra based CITI FM.
Asamoah Gyan is Ghana’s all-time leading goal scorer with 51 goals to his name. The tally come in all the 109 appearances he made for the senior men’s national team of Ghana.
The former Sunderland attacker will be launching a project which is aimed at capturing the memoirs and the untold stories behind his football career on on Saturday, 30th April, 2022 at the Kempinski
Hotel in Accra.
This event will be graced by great football personalities such as Didier Drogba, Anthony Baffoe, Emmanuel
Adebayor, Jay Jay Okocha, Anthony Yeboah, Milovan Rajevac, Baffour Gyan, Samuel Osei Kuffour, Avram Grant, Kwesi Appiah, Agyeman Badu, and others.
