Great Olympics Drag Hearts Of Oak To Court Over Gladson Awako Deal

City Rivals Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics saga is still on coarse as the Dade boys drags Ghana Premier league giants Hearts Of Oak  to court.

Hearts of Oak in the summer transfer window from Great Olympics and per the agreement between the two parties, the Phobians were supposed to pay the transfer fees in two tranches by a set date however the purchasing club – Hearts of Oak – failed to fulfill the requirements stated in the contract by delaying with the second tranche and thus per the agreement between the two entities, Hearts forfeited the player.

This has led intensified the rivalry between the two capital clubs which has invariably affected the playing career of Awako, who is yet to make his debut for the Phobians since joining them in August.

Gladson, formerly of TP Mazembe, played a key role in Great Olympics’ campaign last season and his move to the city rivals was supposed to be an upward trajectory in his resurging career.

The back and forth of the issue has reached a crescendo with the Dade Boys resorting to the courts to seek redress as they seek justice.

Meanwhile, Awako has since apologized for his reluctance to turnout for the Phobians and has began training with the 2000 CAF Champions League winners and is expected to make his debut in the coming weeks.
