Havertz and Mount lead Chelsea to emphatic 2-0 win over Bournemouth 

 

Chelsea Fc returned to the Premier League as they took on Bournemouth at the Stamford Bridge with Kai Havertz and Mason Mount finding the back of the net.

 

The game begun with Chelsea possessing and controlling many aspects of the game as Bournemouth soaked the pressure in a quest to break on the counter.

 

Kai Havertz opened the scoring with a beautiful tap in off the cross of Rahim Sterling after 16 minutes.

 

Soon after, Mason Mount found the back of the net beautifully from outside of the box after 24 minutes to give the hosts breathing space moving into the break.

 

The second half had Bournemouth trying to find themselves back into the game yet failed to break the Chelsea backline of Koulibali and Thiago Silva with Reece James and Cucurella in wide areas.

 

The game finished 2-0 with Chelsea grabbing all three points as Potter’s men build the much needed momentum for the rest of the season.
