Former Hearts of Oak boss Mohammed Polo has criticized the current management of the club on the appointment of Edward Nii Odoom as ahead coach.
According to Polo, Odoom can’t do anything beyond what we are seeing as the club intent to win a major silverware for the first time since 2009.
“Hearts of Oak need a coach with pedigree and clout. Everybody can develop it because it’s a chance but I don’t know what they saw and they gave him [Nii Odoom] the job. What he can do is what he’s doing.”
“Those who gave him the job don’t they have eyes? If you want cheap things you will get cheap results,” Polo told Asempa FM.
Edward Odoom was appointed on the interim after Kim Grant was shown the exit after week two of the Ghana Premier League.
Hearts Of Oak sits 9th on the league log with 21 points hoping to finish on the high when football returns.
