Hearts Of Oak produced a scintillating performance to beat Bechem United by six goals to one at the Accra Sports Stadium in week seven of the Ghana Premier League.
Forward Manaf gave the phobians the needed lead in the 52nd minute after Bechem United’s Asante got sent off for dissent.
Victor Aidoo made it two in the 68th minute after a brilliant dummy and a deft finish for Hearts Of Oak.
Aidoo went ahead to record a brace and Hearts Of Oak’s third with yet another cool finish in the 73rd minute.
Ansah Botchway made it four in the 84th minute converting beautiful from the penalty spot in a quest to seek a convincing win for his side.
Lawali scores his debut goal for Hearts Of Oak in the 88th minute before Afutu’s goal in the 90th minute to make it six.
The visitors later pressed for consolation and were able to break the Hearts Of Oak defense through Prince. Six one the game ended.
The results will further push Hearts Of Oak up the league table from 8th as they have begun the new year on a brighter note.
