Independence day game between the two biggest teams in Ghana, Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko has been cancelled on the said date.
The game between the biggest club has now been rescheduled due to a torrential downpour that has affected the pitch.
According to the Barnet Chairman, Tony Kleathous, “There is no real problem with the pitch that a dry spell and a bit work would not quickly resolve, but we have barely had a day without rain since September, and the forecast one in hundred year event has now become our reality.”
The organizers of the game in consultation with the Ghana football association, has settled on 11th April 2020 as the new date for the biggest clash in London.
