MTN FA cup champions Accra Hearts of oak has appointed Benjamin Mensah as assistant goalkeepers trainer at Hearts of oak according phobianews.com
The 39-year-old has been with the Phobians since November 2016 having previously played for Accra Great Olympics, New Edubiase FC and King Faisal Babes. He led New Edubiase To Win MTN FA cup.
Hearts’ goalkeeping department is stocked with the likes of Richard Attah, Richmond Ayi, Richard Baidoo and Benjamin Nana Yeboah. There are also hushed talks of Eric Ofori Antwi and Frederick Asare joining the Phobians.
The move to elevate Mensah to the technical team is as a result of his loyalty and dedication towards the club.
He has won one league title and an FA Cup title since joining the Phobians.
