He welcomed constructive criticism but urged supporters to refrain from attacking players when things don’t go as planned.
“The fans are like the blood of the club. The coaches may leave, the players may move on, but the fans are always there,” Coach Ouattara noted during the pre-match interview. “We understand their disappointment with the last two matches, and we are calling on them to continue supporting the team because we need them. I listen to the criticism—the good ones I take—but some of it, especially the insults, is not helpful. We ask the fans to keep supporting us.”
