Samartex FC played away to Karela United at the Tamale sports stadium on Sunday afternoon. The game ended 1-1.
Samartex FC forward Godwin Sefah was on the scoresheet as he had the only goal for the Timber giants.
Sefah spoke with Samartex FC media after the game,
“Scoring the first goal of the season feels incredibly great, and I am optimistic and determined that there will be many more goals to celebrate in the future.”
The 15 year old player is having a debut Ghana premier league after joining them from City football Academy in Kumasi.
