Ghanaian and Brighton defender Tariq Lamptey has poured cold water on thoughts of many Ghanaians that his switch is imminent now that he is in the country.
According to Lamptey, his visit to Ghana is not football related but he’s home for holidays and also works relating to his foundation .
” To be honest, i just came back for holidays. Obviously, it’s been a good but long season so i just came to get some rest and have fun. I’ve come to see some family and friends i haven’t seen in a while”, he told Joysports.
“Maybe i know (the Ghana vs Madagascar) is on Wednesday and it will be good if i have the chance to watch but not too much football ”
“I’m already enjoying it so far. It feels good to be home”.
“It’s nice and hot but there is some good foods and I’m enjoying them”, he added.
Tariq Lamptey together with his family arrived in Ghana on Monday amid speculations of his nationality switch to the West African nation.
