Ghanaian clubs have a notoriety of paying their players below the minimum wages. Some have even been accused over the years of feeding their players with Sugar cane as a form of payment.
Former Karela United and Dreams FC attacker Alex Kofi Murphy has revealed he only received a peanut in his one and half year stay with the Sekondi club Hassacas.
The winger said he got GH¢ 400 at Hassacas FC.
