Out of contract Hearts of Oak midfielder Sulley Muntari has revealed his desire to extend his contract with the phobians and play part in their CAF Confederations Cup campaign next season.
The 38year old made the revelation on Monday night when he appeared on Kwabena Yeboah’s sports highlight show on GtvSports+.
“I had only six months contract with Hearts of Oak but I want to renew it. I want to be part of the African campaign,” he told Kwabena Yeboah on GTV Sports+’s Sports Highlights show.
The 2000 CAF Champions league winners will join Asante Kotoko as Ghana’s representatives in the next CAF clubs competition(Confederations cup and Champions league respectively).
The 3-time FIFA World Cup appearance maker joined the Phobians in January 2022 and made 11 league appearances, scored once, and provided 3 assists with two trophies(the President’s Cup and the MTN FA Cup)
