Former Hearts of Oak striker, Kwadwo Obeng Jr has openly declared that he will not turn an offer to return to his former side, Hearts of Oak.
Obeng left the Phobian Club after the end of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
However, following their return to the Ghana top flight, Heart of Lions announced the signing of the striker.
After scoring his first goal of the campaign against Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium in the Matchday 9 games, Obeng Jr speaking in an interview said he would welcome the offer to return to his former side.
I’ll not turn down the opportunity to return to Hearts of Oak. I played there, and I won trophies with them under Samuel Boadu,” he told Asempa FM.
“I am a footballer, and that is my work. I don’t have any issue with any official of the club and should they approach me about a possible return, I’ll not turn it down,” he added.
Meanwhile, Heart of Lions now sit 7th on the Premier League log with 14 points.
Following the hard-fought win against Asante Kotoko and will host Berekum Chelsea in the Matchday 10 games at the Kpando Sports Stadium.
