Jojo Wollacott of Ghana, who made his debut for Hibernian last Thursday against Inter d’Escaldes of Andorra, is expected to miss a significant amount of time owing to a thigh injury.
Despite having had a scan, the surgeon’s evaluation is still necessary to determine the entire extent of the injury.
Hibernian will have to rely on other possibilities to cover his position because his absence will put the team’s depth in goalkeepers to the test.
Wollacott’s first appearance for Hibernian was brief. He had to be replaced owing to the injury after only 18 minutes on the pitch.
However, if the injury affects a tendon, it could potentially keep him out of play for much longer than six weeks.
Wollacott is anticipated to miss a substantial amount of upcoming games, including crucial ties, which is bad news for Hibernian.

His bright start included a great stop against a risky opposition free kick. Unfortunately, his excitement after his first success was short-lived when he showed signs of distress by clutching his thigh and made it apparent that he couldn’t go on.
Given that he recently signed a three-year contract to transfer from Charlton Athletic to Hibernian, the goalkeeper’s injury on his debut is disappointing for both him and the squad
