Forward Jordan Ayew has tested positive for Covid-19 as he is set to miss the Blackstars game.
The striker is not showing any symptoms and will continue to keep fit with Crystal Palace’s physical trainer.
Ayew is in the Ghana squad to face Nigeria as it stands but the decision for him to arrive in the country is still unclear.
Blackstars players will arrive today (Monday) and move to Kumasi the following day to prepare for the game on Friday.
Jordan is likely to miss Ghana’s World Cup qualifier double header against Nigeria on 25 March and return leg on 29 on the same month.
Coach Otto Addo is expecting his players to be fully up for the task ahead as Ghana seek the fourth Worldcup showdown in Qatar.
