Joseph Painstil has been given permission by the Black Stars technical team to return to his club in Belgium owing to an injury.
The winger was forced to withdraw from Thursday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Central African Republic after suffering the injury in the last period of his League match against Anderlecht on Sunday.
It’s a big blow to Chris Hughton and his technical stuff ahead of the game.
The player will start his recovery right away when he gets back to his team.
Ghana’s match is scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium at exactly 4:00 on local time on Thursday.
