Ghanaian forward Joseph Paintsil has been included in the Major League Soccer Team of the Week after a stellar performance for LA Galaxy in their thrilling 3-2 victory over Portland Timbers.

Joseph Paintsil bagged a goal and provided two assists, taking his tally for the season to an impressive 8 goals and 7 assists in just 22 appearances for the Galaxy.
His decisive strike on the hour mark proved to be the winner, propelling LA Galaxy to the top of the Western Conference standings. His well-rounded performance, combining goalscoring prowess with playmaking ability, has been instrumental in the Galaxy’s success.
LA Galaxy currently sit atop the Western Conference with a commanding 49 points after 29 matches. Paintsil’s contributions have been vital in their journey to the summit.
