Kotoko coach Prosper Ogum eyes victory against Karela United for a strong start in second round

The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum is keen on leading his team to victory in the upcoming encounter against Karela United in the Ghana Premier League.

The gaffer is hoping that the win against Karela on Sunday, January 26, will be a turning point in his team’s season as they aim to clinch the title at the end of the season.

“Upcoming games should be a turning point for us in terms of our ambition to compete for the trophy. We are playing two games at home, we should make the best out of these opportunities, try and play well in terms of performance, try and make sure that the chances we create we convert them.

“It’s all about the three points and when we get the three points, these vital six points am sure when we get them it will inspire us a lot in terms of our approach at training and our approach in subsequent games. So it’s a good opportunity and we need to grab it,” Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum said after Kotoko drew with Medeama SC during Week 16.

After that game, Kotoko whipped Vision FC 4-1 during Week 17.

The team has this week prepared well and hopes to overcome Karela United to climb higher on the league table.
