Kotoko: Ibrahim Danlad and 10 others to leave ahead of new season
Asante Kotoko is set to part ways with goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad and 10 other players. Preparation for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
Donald has been a crucial formation for the unit captain. His impressive performance earned him a spot in Ghana’s squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. He did not make an appearance in the tournament. He is recognized as one of Ghana’s most talented. The goalkeepers have played for every junior national team.
Addition to Danlad, more players will vacate the club. As part of significant changes aimed at improving Kotoko’s performance next season. The decisions were finalized in a meeting at the club secretariat.
Asante Kotoko, who finished a disappointing sixth in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League, endured a challenging season that included six consecutive losses, matching their worst record in 14 years. These changes reflect the club’s determination to revamp their squad and bounce back stronger.
