Kumasi Asante Kotoko speedster Joseph Amoako has been thrown to jail by a Swedish court on grounds of rape according to reports.
Joseph Amoako according to reports from Sweden has been sentenced to two years in prison on grounds of rape. The player joined Helsinborg on loan from Asante Kotoko last season. Report from the police says, Amoako forcibly had sex with his white girlfriend. The latter then made charges against his partner on grounds of rape.
Amoako was detained by police when the news broke out and was subsequently frozen from his team Helsinborg. He last played for Helsinborg on 9th October 2022.
Kotoko are officially yet to react to the news.
