Ex-Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has petitioned the Ghana Football Association to pay an amount of $175,000 which is owed him from the period he served as the National team coach.
The Ghana football association withheld match winning bonus and five months salary from the former Black Stars captain.
According to our sources Kwesi Appiah and his Lawyers have given the Ghana football association two weeks ultimatum to carry out the payment.
The FA demanded that Kwesi Appiah return everything that was given to him by the Association to facilitate his Black Stars job which infuriated the ex-manager. He then adhered to the FA’s demands by returning a car that was given to him.
Kwesi Appiah requested for his unpaid salaries some few days after and may resort to more drastic measures if he does not receive his payment before the deadline.
Speculation in the media suggests that his salary was around $35,000.
Kwesi Appiah was replaced by C.K.Akonnor after losing his job in July.
