Kwesi Appiah Will Be Paid Once Things Are Ironed Out – Deputy Sports Minister
Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon Perry Okudzeto has finally given former Black Stars head coach, James Kwesi Appiah some words of hope regarding his arrears owed him by the state.
Kwesi Appiah has recently made his frustrations public about his unpaid salaries and wages.
The former Black Stars head coach, contract wasn’t renewed after it expired last year.
The state owes Kwesi Appiah USD 185,000 arrears in bonuses and salaries.
Speaking on the arrears in an interview, Hon Perry Okudzeto gave some words of hope to the former Black Stars Head Coach.
“I know that the ministry is in talks with Coach Kwesi Appiah. Once things are ironed out, he will be paid” – Hon. Perry Okudzeto said on Joy News’ Beyond the Lockdown show.
