I Left Sekondi Hasaacas Because They Could Not Pay My Rent- John Arthur Kassilas

Former Sekondi Hasaacas goalkeeper John Arthur Kassilas has sadly revealed why he left the division one side despite plans to help fight for the club to gain a top-flight qualification.

According to the 23-year-old, payment of thousand two cedis as rent became a problem hence his move away from the club.

“I had a month left on my contract with Sekondi Hasaacas and I wanted to leave.” Arthur told Takoradi based Kyzz FM.

“It got to a time I could not buy personal stuffs and no one was willing to help me. Hasaacas rented a place for me and they stopped paying for the rent at time.”

“I spoke with the club chairman who explained to me the financial crises facing the club, so I decided to move on once they could not pay for rent.” He added.

Kasillas joined Division One side Bibiani Gold Stars Football Club at the start of this season with high hopes of qualifying to the league proper.

The league season has been halted since March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic with strict measures in place to combat the deadly virus.
