Manchester United in talks with Rashford over new five year deal

Manchester United have opened talks with England forward Marcus Rashford with his contract likely to run out this summer.

Rashford has gone on to make 328 appearances for the club and was likely to make a move away from Manchester prior to Eric Ten Hag’s arrival to the club.

Rashford has been in impeccable form after the World Cup scoring in all of Man United’s last seven games.

However, with six months left on Rashford’s contract, United extended Rashford with the club for 12 months after activating a clause in his contract that prevents him with negotiating with other clubs this January.

Man United look to extend Rashford for five extra years that would take him until 2028 with the Club and a salary of 300,000 Euros a week.

PSG looked like an ideal destination for Rashford if he would arrive on a free yet that remains heavily unlikely with United looking to seal the new deal.
