Match Report: Dreams FC 0:0 Hearts of Oak

Accra Hearts of Oak held Dreams FC to a 0-0 draw at Dawu theater of Dreams on match day 25 of the Betpawa premier league.

Dreams FC were hoping to bury their poor run of results in the Betpawa premier league with a win over Accra Hearts of Oak on match day 25.

The host started on a brighter note and always looked favorite to launch the opener compared to their opponents with the likes of Sylvester Simba influencing play.

In the second-half Hearts of Oak created a lot of chances but the lack of proper finishing and superb goalkeeping from Dreams FC goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi remained a stumbling block.

In the 70th minute Sylvester Simba fired in a long range drive however Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi pulled up a brilliant save with his legs.

Dreams FC held the fort very tight at the back. In the 77th minute substitute Abdul Aziz Issah shot flashed across the face of goal. Goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi was called into action again in the 78th minute. Gael Avocevou’s snap shot was brilliantly denied by the former Legon Cities shot stopper.

Coach David Ocloo subbed on Isaac Mensah and Kwabena Anane. Hearts of Oak missed a glorious opportunity in the 86th minute to record the opener.

Linda Mtange narrowly missed the goal after putting the ball pass goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi with a dink. The Phobians  flubbed another opportunity in the 91st minute, Kojo Obeng Jnr goal bound strike was superbly stopped on the line.

It ended Dreams FC 0-0 Hearts of Oak.
