Medeama SC defeated Hearts of Oak 1-0 in their outstanding week 5 clash of the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday.
The Mauve and Yellow side scored a late penalty to hand the Phobians their second defeat of the season.
Medeama dominated majority of the first half but couldn’t find the back of the net.

Hearts came close too but Afriyi Barnieh also tried his luck for Hearts of Oak but his efforts went wide.
Medeama were awarded a penalty in the 81st minute after Mohammed Alhassan brought down Medeama attacker in the penalty box.
Former Hearts defender Vincent Atinga stepped forward and perfectly converted to give Hearts the lead.
Hearts were reduced to 10-men after Kwadwo Obeng Junior was shown his second yellow of the game.
The Phobians despite a late fight couldn’t get the equalizer as the host carry the day.
Hearts, who will host Techiman Eleven Wonders on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium, remain seventh on the log with 17 points while Medeama have moved one place up to fourth position with 22 points.
