Great Olympics drew at home as they were held to a 0-0 goalless draw against Samartex at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Great Olympics goalkeeper Benjamin Asare pulled up brilliant saves to keep his side in the game. He had to come out of his comfort zone to always force dangerous balls out.
In between the 90 minutes of play, both teams had chances but they failed to capitalize. In the 84th minute Olympics forward Razak Kassim skyrocketed his effort after cutting in from the right.
It was a low point in what has been a frustrating match for the Dade Mashie, having failed to shake off last weekend’s mauling at King Faisal.
The draw leave Great Olympics 12th on the league table with 27 points. Meanwhile Samartex drop to 9th position with 30 points.
Sarmatex forward Evans Owusu was adjudged Most valuable player of the match.
