Sekondi Hasaacas hosted Nzema Kotoko in week four of the national Division One League at the Sekondi Gyandu Park.
It was Hasaacas’ second home game of the season after drawing goalless against New Edubiase in week two.
What happened:
Hasmal controlled and dominated possession in the first half but failed to find the back of the next.
The team continued from where they left in the first with much composure and great skills forcing the opponent to commit several fouls.
Richard Arthur of Nzema Kotoko received his marching orders in the 74th minute giving Hasaacas the numerical advantage as the game progressed.
Philip Flamini finally headed home the lead in the 81st minute giving the home supporters something to smile about.
The second red card on the day was shown to Nathaniel Eshun in the dying embers of the game following an inappropriate challenge right in front of the referee. 1:0 the game ended.
What it means:
The win takes Sekondi Hasaacas to the second position in Zone two with 8 points, 4 points behind leaders Bibiani Gold Stars.
What is next:
It will be a second consecutive home game for Hasaacas as they prepare to host All Black on Wednesday in week five of the Division One League.
