MATCH REPORT:HEARTS OF OAK WHIP ELEVEN WONDERS.

Hearts of Oak returns to winning ways with a resounding 4-1 triumph over Eleven Wonders at the Ohene Gyan Stadium in match-week 13 of the Ghana Premier League..

Coach Samuel Boadu heads into this game again without skipper Fatawu Mohammed, with Isaac Mensah been dropped from the starting line up.

With Eleven Wonders, goalkeeper Joseph Baah continue to remain in goal over Razak Issah. Tetteh Nortey to lead the players in the absence of Simms Kwayie.

Hearts of Oak commenced the game really well as Kofi Kordzi made a great run towards goal to open the scoring account but was fouled for a wasted goal kick.

Eleven Wonders given a free kick 21 yards away from the goal area. Tetteh Nortey’s powerful hit skied off the crossbar. 

The ‘Phobians’ opened the scoring account on the 19th minute kind courtesy a thunderbolt from young midfielder Salim Adams. He’s scored his trademark leaving a joyous mood in the stadium

The ‘Sure Wonders’ came so close to getting the equaliser on the 30th minute but Laar Ibrahim failed to grab the equaliser after being left in a one on one situation with Richmond Ayi.

Back from the break, Hearts of Oak doubled their lead after just two minutes after Kofi Kordzi headed home from a cross to give them a brighter start.

The Rainbow Club awarded a penalty on the 53rd minute after Afriyie Barnie was brought down for a penalty. Kofi Kordzi stepped up and completed his brace to net his seventh of the season

Eleven Wonders awarded a penalty on the 84th minute. Captain Tetteh Nortey converted from the spot to pull one back.  


It finished 4-1 after full time. Hearts of Oak returns to winning ways with a resounding victory.
