Matchday 9 of the 2022/2023 Ghana Premier League season returns

The Ghana Premier returns to full action on Monday 19th December 2022 after a month long break.

The campaign resumes today and the league will enter matchday 9 as clubs to go toe to toe for maximum points to help attain their targets for the season.

At 3pm, two matches will be played simultaneously as the Wafa Park and the Bibiani Duns Park hosts Accra lions versus Fc Samartex and Real Tamale United away from home to Bibiani Gold Stars respectively.

On Tuesday however, 2021 Ghana Premier League winners Accra Hearts of Oak take on the ever promising and newly promoted Nsoatreman side away from home at the Nana Kronmansah Park as they look to bounce back into the top four and even find themselves temporarily on top of the table.

Accra Great Olympics take on league leaders Aduana Stars away from home in Sogakope at the Wafa Park with Aduana eyeing the win to keep them as league leaders as a victory for either side could also make them league leaders as well with two points separating both sides.

Wednesday presents four mouthwatering fixtures at 3pm with defending Champions Kotoko taking on 9th placed Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium with the champions eyeing the win after failing to record a victory twice in their last two league games.

Relegation battlers Kotoku Royals take on 10th placed Legon Cities at the Cape Coast stadium in what is highly anticipated as the Royals look to bounce back to winning ways.

Bechem United take on Tamale City fc at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park as Karela take on Medeama SC and the Dawu Park hosts the Dreams Fc versus King Faisal game.
