Maxwell Konadu Named Head Coach of Ghana’s Black Meteors for Promising Future

Maxwell Konadu

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has bolstered the leadership of their National U23 team, the Black Meteors, by appointing Maxwell Konadu as Head Coach.

Konadu, known for his experience developing young Ghanaian talent, steps into this role from his current position as Head Coach of Ghana Premier League club Nsoatreman FC.

His proven track record working within Ghana’s youth development system, including the U17 and U20 teams, makes him a strong choice for the Black Meteors.  Konadu’s experience will be crucial in preparing the U23 team for upcoming challenges.

Maxwell Konadu will be joined by assistant coach Abdul Gazale, a former Asante Kotoko coach and holder of a CAF License A.

The technical team is further bolstered by the appointment of Ben Owu as Goalkeepers Trainer and Amankwah Mireku as Team Manager.

This strategic selection by the GFA reflects their commitment to developing Ghana’s next generation of football stars.
