Mohammed Zakari has attributed part of Inter Allies struggles to the exit of Samuel Armah and Adebayor who were both influential in the team last season.
Speaking the club’s media team, Zakari said:
“We came with the mindset of winning because we had lost our previous game at home.
However, things did not pan out as we wanted and we lost 1-0.
There is no way we can say we don’t miss them (Samuel Adebayor and Samuel Armah) because last season we were scoring a lot even though we were conceding.
In a Football Club, players come and go so we would have to cope with whoever comes in.
We have to find a way to blend with the new strikers as we did with Amarh and Adebayor.”
Inter Allies lost their last game before the Christmas break to Elmina Sharks by a goal to nil.
