Mohammed Kudus price tag to rise – Ajax sporting director

Ajax sporting director Sven Mislintat says Mohammed Kudus’ price tag could shoot up in the coming days.

This would however serve as a warning to team that are trying to secure to signature of the Ghanaian international.

Brighton and Hove Albion, Chelsea, and Arsenal all want to sign the gifted Ghanaian player. However, it appears that Blues have a slight advantage over the competition in luring the versatile player, who is thought to be worth around £40 million.

Ajax have acknowledged casual conversations with teams about the transfer of the Black Stars midfielder, but they have not yet received a firm offer.

A business in the last days of the window would increase the player’s cost because Mislintat predicts that an offer may not be seen soon.

He told Ajax Life, via Metro, “There are clubs that have formally inquired about him.”

He also added, there will be a need for the club to find a replacement for him despite Kudus’ departure being uncertain.
