Raja Club Casablance from Morocco has been ordered by the Federation Of International Football Association(FIFA) to cough out $70,000 to former Kotoko defender Awal Mohammed after terminating his contract unlawfully.
The 32-year-old completed a move to Raja Casablanca from Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia in 2015 but had his contract terminated after complaining about unpaid salaries.
The former Kotoko defender made 23 appearances for the Moroccan side and scored a goal before the unfortunate incident.
Awal Mohammed played for Kumasi Asante Kotoko after joining in 2011 from WAFA and won the Ghana premier league in his first season.
