Dennis Appiah, a Ghanaian defender of French descent, is having his medical at Forez before to his transfer from FC Nantes to Saint-Etienne.
The 30-year-old has agreed to part-ways with the Yellow Canneries, as previously revealed per multiple sources, and is expected to sign with the Ligue 2 team during the winter transfer window.
After clearing his physical, Appiah will sign a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Ligue 2 underdogs.
The former Anderlecht player, who has been a regular for FC Nantes this year, was left off the roster for the game against Troyes due to his impending transfer to Saint-Etienne.
Saint-Étienne believes that Appiah’s expertise will be crucial in assisting them in staying up for a second consecutive season in their league.
